Pool Help

We are planning a trip to the islands in Feruary and are having difficulty finding a new resort. Looking for oceanside resort with great pools. Have been to Grand Hyatt in Kauai and Grand Wailea on Maui and loved the pools. Would prefer Big Island or other Kauai but open. Will be in Oahu at HHV for part of trip. Any help would be appreciated!

Pool Help

Well, if you%26#39;re planning to revisit Kauai, you%26#39;re not going to find pools superior to the Hyatt%26#39;s! However, I personally will not return to Kauai without staying on the lovely north shore.

Arguably, the best resort pools on the Big Island are at the Hilton Waikoloa. We are going to the Big Island this summer to explore (staying multiple places) and finish up with three nights at the Grand Wailea to get our ';pool fix';.

Pool Help

In February, the north shore would be a little risky just because of the weather. A lot of places don%26#39;t heat their pools either. If the pool doesn%26#39;t get much sun in the winter, it can be a little chilly!

The Marriott in Lihue has a very large, nice pool area with swim-up bar, but it%26#39;s nothing like the setup at the Hyatt.
