7 days of no sun =

I%26#39;m heading back to Oahu!!! Here in WI, we have had about a week or so without the sun even peaking out for a minute. Talk about depressing, we don%26#39;t even have any snow on the ground. It has been a really weird winter. Anyway, we are going back to paradise for a week in Feb. I wanted to surprise my husband with Pro Bowl tickets but, he could not get off from work so we are leaving on the 13th. We got married on Oahu last Feb, so we will be there for our 1 year anniversary. Everyone on this forum helped me out so much with my last trip, I don%26#39;t post alot, I usually just read (almost everyday). So, thanks to everyone for being so nice and helpful. Also, to anyone who is going to the Pro Bowl, tell me how it was.

Thanks

Have a nice trip.

We did not see the sun here in Michigan for the last 17 days, but who is counting? It is out right now but supposed to snow later today.

It is downright freezing here today. I will be heading to Oahu/Kauai February 18th with my mom and then to Maui April 4th with my DH. Can%26#39;t wait to get out of the cold.

Sorry, just saw on the news it was the 15th day of no sun. I thought it was only a week, I was wrong. Still no sign of snow coming anytime soon. I just hate when the weather is like this and everything looks so dirty, at least the snow looks better. Can%26#39;t wait to get back to Hawaii.

Seattle is on day number 19 of rain..

Yes, the last day of sun in Minneapolis was on December 23rd. At least it has been relatively ';warm'; with temps in the 30%26#39;s. But I can%26#39;t wait for the warm sunshine of Lana%26#39;i in 11 days.

I can%26#39;t help but read all of your posts with complete fascination - I live in sunny Queensland, Australia, and as I write this we are going through what the weather forecasters say is one of the hottest summers on record. Over Christmas the heat in some parts of the country was simply unbearable - even while sitting perfectly still the sweat was just pouring off us! While we are experiencing blistering heat, you guys are suffering days (or weeks) without sunshine - so hard to imagine the other end of the spectrum for someone like me who%26#39;s been sweltering in the good old Aussie heat for what seems like months! My husband %26amp; I are heading to Hawaii on 25 Feb for our 1 year wedding anniversary and we are bursting with excitement - its funny to know that while everyone on the other side of the globe is heading to Hawaii to escape their bitter winter, we are heading there to seek a nice warm tropical climate rather that the blistering dry hot one at home! Its great knowing there is a beautiful place roughly in the middle that we can all escape to when the extreme weather gets too much for us....

Anyway, I just wanted to share that with you all and wish everyone a fantastic trip!!!

You are so lucky to be going! My husband and I went to Oahu on our Honeymoon from December 22-29. It was lovely. I%26#39;m from Ohio and when we returned from our trip it was one of the most dreary days I%26#39;ve ever seen. Since we%26#39;ve been back the weather has been very grey and depressing and I really wish we were back sitting on our lanai, watching the sunset. *sigh*.

Have a wonderful trip!

Only a week without sun?! We are on day 24 of rain (yes, in a row), and should break the record of 28 straight days. It never feels like daytime it%26#39;s so dark all the time. I%26#39;ll be in Waikiki March 1 to soak it up for two weeks!

Enjoy your trip!

two weeks.... O you are a lucky soul!!

we had one week and that was not enough!!

Back to ';cloudy, grey, Buffalo';.... the tan is fading and so are my spirits....
