What to expect Fe.1-10

My two friends and I are going to be staying in Honolulu Feb.1-10... what can we expect? Weather wise? Best beach? Best places to shop and eat???

I appreciate all the advice I can get!! Thanks!

If you are going in feb, you should be able to go whale watching. You can see them during the winter, dec through march, I think.

Weather should be nice. Temp. could be anywhere from 75-85 degrees. There%26#39;s alot of nice beaches right around the island. What exactly are you looking for? - A beach just to soak up some sun? Body-boarding only? Snorkling? A beach with just a few people/alot of people? Big surf/no surf? Safe beach? What type of shopping are you interested in? Local wear? Alot of us locals do our shopping on the mainland; it%26#39;s cheaper! We do have malls (Ala Moana Center/Pearl Ridge Center/Kahala Mall/outlets at Waikele). And what type of food are you looking for-Hawaiian food, fine dining, buffets, Chinese, Italian, Japanese?

My wife and I are also visiting Hawaii Feb 1-10. We%26#39;re staying at Mokuleia Beach Colony, just west of Waialua on the North Shore. I used to live there 35 years ago and haven%26#39;t been back since. I%26#39;m really looking forward to sharing some of my childhood experiences with my wife. The north shore has great beaches for surfing and snorkling. If you%26#39;re into skydiving and gliders, Dillingham airfield is just a few minutes down the road from Mokuleia. Honolulu is nice but very ';touristy';. That%26#39;s why we%26#39;re staying on the north shore. Hope you enjoy your trip, maybe we%26#39;ll bump into each other.
