Does anyone know the true current condition at the hotel?
We have gone thru a lot of trouble putting together a family trip in Mid-Feb and are planning to stay for 5 nights. I%26#39;m very concerned after reading the negative reviews re: noise and other problems related to the construction.

we are due to fly in april have gone to our tour operater and they said they do not have any information on the change of ownership or of a major revamp in early 2006 and can not get any information on what stage the work is at also have emailed hotel and they have never replied please could you email us with any information you have received now or in the future thanks

I am going to be staying there for a week starting next Saturday, and was also hoping for some information. I will post an update when I return to let you know the condition. I%26#39;m hoping for the best! My husband tried to call there a few days ago to confirm our reservation, and there was no answer. Very strange.
Curently buildings # 1 and 4 are being worked on. When we stopped by to take a look a couple months ago, only building # 4 was being renovated and had a new roof on. They say that building # 4 should be completed by the end of February and # 1 won%26#39;t be done until May sometime.

the buildings aren%26#39;t numbered, but the one labeled ';lagoon view rooms'; is building # 1 and ';ocean front suites'; is building # 4.
