Sea Turtles

We were in Maui about 6 years ago and went on a fantastic ocean kayaking/sea turtle/snorkeling trip. I don%26#39;t remember the name of the group we went with, but I found it on one of the guidebooks I used. It was south of Lahaina, before Wailea... I know that isn%26#39;t much help, I will see if I can find the name of the place by looking at my photo album. I know there is a spot where the sea turtles live, so perhaps if you ask around someone can be more specific.

It was absolutely amazing - and I am trying to track down the name of the place myself for our return trip this April. If I come up with it, I%26#39;ll post again.

We always see turtles snorkeling Five Graves off Makena. Not tons of them, but there are always some. Not bad general snorkeling, either.

You may be talking about Olawalu, or Mile Marker 16 on the Honolapiilani Hwy...but quite frankly, the Honu (turtle) live pretty much off all the beaches of Maui. Remember, it is illegal to harass them...just enjoy them from a distance.
