Hula Grill or Leilani's

Want to plan a casual get-together for some friends- just drinks and pupus, nothing too fancy, and nothing that will completely break the bank. Needs to be very convenient to Kaanapali Beach- don%26#39;t want to drive into Lahaina. Have it narrowed down to Hula Grill or Leilani%26#39;s- which would be the better choice?

Hula Grill or Leilani's

Hello. I have not dined at Leilani%26#39;s, but I did have lunch at the Hula Grill 4 days ago. The Hula Grill has a beautiful view of Kaanapali Beach, (as I am sure that Leilani%26#39;s does, as the 2 restaurants are close by eachother). I did not find the prices to be too high for Maui. We also received excellent service at the Hula Grill; our waitress was very sweet and helped make our meal wonderful. In fact, I would probably say that the service we had at the Hula Grill was the best service we had during all our meals on Maui. And the food we had was great.

Hula Grill or Leilani's

As a tradition. My Sisters and I allways stop and have our first drink at the barefoot bar at the Hula Grill. Take off your shoes and sink your toes in the sand and exhale. Your feet will be dirty but who cares...you in paradice!

Aloha! We like the Hula Grill for drinks and pupus and Leilani%26#39;s for a nice dinner.

Both are excellent choices - cannot go wrong with either. Slight preference to Leilani%26#39;s.

I thought Lelanis had atrocious food and service. I like Hula Grill for the live mnusic and ambiance as well as drinks and pupus.

Hula grill, definitely!

We usually eat at both, but I prefer Hula Grill. We always try to eat outside in the sand our first night.

It might come down to whichever place you can get into first! Sometimes the Hula Grill has a 1 1/2 hour waiting list!

Entertainment at Hula Grill usually starts about 7 pm.

Fish tacos at Leilani%26#39;s are the bomb. Prices are good.

My preference is for Hula Grill, but I%26#39;ve always liked Peter Merriman%26#39;s places, especially his restaurant on the Big Island.

BTW, Hula Grill makes an awesome Lava Flow!

I like both, but my favorite is the Hula Grill!
