Only 37 more days at the gym-Anyone else with me?

37 more days at the gym BEFORE we go! Yikes! I%26#39;m thinking 8 pounds is not unreasonable to lose before then. It%26#39;d be nice if I had someone to be accountable to sit up wise. (for some reason, I%26#39;ll run, and do weights, but I really lame out on the sit ups)



Who%26#39;s with me?

lol....i was in your same boat Santy. at home i am happy with my winter time weight, but wearing a bikini is different. but i would not stress too much about it. we just returned from maui yesterday, and it is nothing like somewhere like south beach. there are very few super skinny model types on the beaches i went to. so good luck with your fitness; maui is wonderful and i am sure you will have a great time.

I have 39 more days and 10 pounds to go! I have been doing tae-bo and so far I have lost 15 pounds! I hear you about the winter weight, here in upstate NY you need it to stay warm!! There was no way I was going on a trip of a lifetime overweight. I will be looking at our pictures for years and I don%26#39;t want to see myself chubby. Good luck with your eight, you can definetely do it!!




Wow! You lost 15 pounds, good for you! I wish I would have been motivated a lot sooner. I hear what you%26#39;re saying about the photos, I feel the same way! Keep going! I%26#39;m excited about going to the gym today! Thanks for the motivation!

When you get there you will see folks from toddlers to 100 year olds....from Twiggy to the Good Year blimp.....





If you are trying to get in shape to fit it forget it, do it for you because frankly, no one cares what other people on the beach look like unless they are trolling for a mate.




this site is too funny cause we all do the same silly things buy the way I have 24 days to lose 6 more pounds which is what I was went to kauai last year!




try sitting on an exercise ball at the computer and crunch between replies!








I%26#39;m getting fit because I want to, not because of a trip. The trip is my goal, my something to work towards. A certain day, if you will. I usually go to the gym, but I haven%26#39;t been making it a priority, until recently. I feel good when I go. Like I told my daughter the other day, I%26#39;m not any skinnier, but I sure feel like I am.





I don%26#39;t need to impress anyone. My hubby loves me with a little extra because I have shape now! I just want to feel good in a bathing suit. I may not get to that point, but who cares? As soon as I%26#39;m in that water, I won%26#39;t care how lumpy I am! LOL!




Good for you Santy. I hope I did not offend with my earlier post. General fitness is important to good health. And it is always nice to feel good about yourself.




Offended? LOL! Of course not! Bill mentioned that he didn%26#39;t get it. I was just helping him understand where I was comin%26#39; from.





On the contrary, I am thankful for any encouragement!




I am right there with you..2 hour work outs a day.....I%26#39;ve gone from 325lb to 142 been doing this for 2 years now, trying to get the last 8 pounds off, oh it%26#39;s sheer determination, and I don%26#39;t mine the sit ups (Crunches) I have a problem with push-ups...



Leave for maui in 25 days....
