Packing questions

We are packing very light. One backpack for each person (Maybe two for Mom)! We land at Maui at 10:00 pm so we will not be able to hit costco. So I want to bring what I can fit.We are staying at Sheraton, Wailea Marriott %26amp; Kahana Falls.

Is one brand of sunblock better than another for Maui%26#39;s hot sun?

Do you rec bringing our own snorkel? The thoughts of putting a used one in my mouth is not that appealing!

Do you suggest we bring towels?

Hi - just got back a couple of weeks ago. For what its worth, we just used a waterproof/sport type of sunblock with an spf of 30 (we weren%26#39;t interested in frying). We definitely took our own snorkels. Besides the lack of appeal of using a ';community snorkel';, we%26#39;re just used to using our own. I wouldn%26#39;t worry about towels, they are plentiful at the hotels and we never had any problems with anyone bothering them. Also at our hotel (not sure if it%26#39;s that way everywhere), they didn%26#39;t have ';towel police'; so it wouldn%26#39;t have mattered if something had happened to our towels.
