My husband, 2 kids and I will be going to Hawaii in April. We are staying at the HHV because of the information on this site. I am trying to book some tours for us and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about how to get to Pearl Harbor and the Swap Meet on the same day. I saw a tour that went to both places on one of my late night internet searches - but have not been able to find it again since. If anyone has any information on this tour I would be VERY grateful!!!
If not, I was wondering if it would be expensive, or if it makes sense to just take a taxi to Pearl Harbor early and then take another one from there to the swap meet and then another from there to the hotel? Obviously, we are not planning a renting a car. :) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Pearl Harbor and Swap Meet
Hi there. Rent a car for the day. They can be had for $30.00 a day. It is cheap and would most pay for itself after the second cab ride, plus you have it for the day. Go somewhere else.
Pearl Harbor and Swap Meet
Definately rent a car. Also, since you have a car, check out the northern (windward) part of the island. It is really the most beautiful area. Just time it so that you don%26#39;t get caught in rush hour traffic....
I would also rent a car for the day, which is what I am planning to do. If not an option, try The Bus. Takes a while to get there, but would be an adventure. Check out thebus.org, they also tell you what bus to take.
