3 nights lodging in bed/breakfast or condo needed

we are going to Big Island for 3 nights in Sept and want to avoid the big resorts/hotels. Looking for nice, family-owned B and B or condo or hotel.

Magic Sands Condo south of Kona.

Cant help on the B%26amp;B scene.....they can be as expensive as the big hotels and very remote...... pick wisely.

The Cedar House B%26amp;B south of Kona (in Captain Cook)is quite wonderful, and in a very quiet residential area, on a pleasant coffee farm. We have also had wonderful stays in Volcano Village at the Volcano TeaPot Cottage--can%26#39;t say enough great things about that place. We prefer B%26amp;B%26#39;s if they are quiet, private, and in locations where there isn%26#39;t a lot of traffic, tourists, noise, etc., so we are pretty picky about where we stay and what we recommend (the place also has to be clean, clean, clean!). We are going to stay at Tina%26#39;s Country Cottage near Waimea next summer, but can%26#39;t recommend it yet because we haven%26#39;t stayed there yet. Good luck!
