Waimea Valley Audobon Center AND International Market Place

It used to be Waimea Falls Park...what is the difference now? It used to have a tram that took you around...do they still have that? and the cliff diving show? the hula shows? what all is there?

And i thought the IMP was being torn down all ready. Is it not? Whats the plan for that?

Thanks!

The IMP is not going to be torn down. They will keep it and just make improvments.

Does anyone know how far you would need to walk to see the falls?

It%26#39;s now called the Waimea Valley Audobon Center. There is no longer a tram, and no show at the falls (no divers or hula dancers), but you can swim in the pool at the base of the falls. The entry fee is lower, but I can%26#39;t remember how much. It%26#39;s still a great place to walk and view flowers %26amp; trees.

I believe it%26#39;s something like a mile round trip stroll. My niece (8 at the time) did it easily and loved exploring all the trails off the main paved road.

There are many endangered plant (and bird) species and a great place to get wonderful pics of flowers and trees.
