Banyan or Palms at Wailea?

Anyone have a preference over these two? I%26#39;ve heard both are good, so not sure which one to pick. Adults travelling with toddler.

My brother was miserably hot at the Palms in August. A/C was only in the bedroom and he said the living area became stifling... Also, it was a short drive to the beach, not walking distance.

Go with the Banyan. You can walk across the street and be at the beach. They have a pool and also a outside hottub.

You are closer to Kihei and restaurants. It is like a hotel with indoor hallways.
