Puamana Vacation Homes

Has anybody stayed in these? Good stay? Bad stay?

Puamana Vacation Homes

Yes--stayed in one that I rented through mauiinfo.com. They were very helpful. Six of us were in Maui last Sept ... I made the reservation and was quite nervous -- all for no reason! The unit we stayed in was incredible. 3BR, 3 1/2 BA, ocean front (although about 50 feet of lawn between us and the water).

The grounds are very mature and very well maintained. We had a large plumeria tree right next to our lanai -- smelled great! Anyway -- our unit was nicely decorated and huge -- it had recently been redone. The whole area was quite -- seems like several of the units are owner-occupied, not rentals.

There isn%26#39;t much of a beach -- although it%26#39;s okay for swimming, boogie boarding, etc. Great oceanfront pool -- the sea water actually laps up over the edge! So if you%26#39;re going to spend a lot of time on the beach, you might want to think about another place. But there is sooo much to do in Maui that I spend very little time just hanging out on the beach.

Puamana is quite close to Lahaina. If you are staying on the northwest end of the complex, you are several blocks%26#39; walk from town, which is nice if you prefer walking over driving.

We had a great experience staying at Puamana and I%26#39;d definitely recommend it!
