I am going on the Pride of Aloha the first week of February. Are they currently adding a $10 per day service charge to stateroom accounts or do you tip as you go throughout the cruise?

yEs, no and always.
When you go on an NCL cruise you wont be able to put your hand in your pockets because they already have theirs in it.
You will pay as you go with automatic tips of 15% deducted for every coke, water, wine,drink or juice you drink. Then you will be billed $10 per person per day on top of that.. and youu have to fight to get it back. Drinks are the same as at the hyatt.high... and oh.... passengers can%26#39;t briing liquor or soda aboard... bags are checked.
Then if you want to eat at any of the specialty restauraunts, youu get charged $10 to $20 per person and in some cases have to pay ala carte off a menu... only the main dining room is free.
If you want flowers in your room it is priced by the bloom.....not the bunh.... oh 4 flowers please......I looked at the toilet paper roll to see if there was a conter on the sheets. Want to go to the beach...$20 each on the special tender..... otherwise...sorry
This is a good ship if you understand that you have to keep your wits about you....
this I why I pay a bit more to go on the lines than are all inclusive... no tips, so surcharges, complimentary liquor, soda. wine.
Watch your self but have fun yoouu will have a good time if you control yourself....
